1. Himeji Castle Metal Model Kit

The Himeji Castle is also known as the White Heron Castle because of the way that its soaring white stucco walls resemble a graceful heron taking flight. The original fortress was built in 1346 and the castle in its current form was completed 1610. The castle is full of defensive features however it has never been attacked in its 400 year history. In 1993 it was designated a World Heritage Site. The model is 2.8 x 2.7 x 2.35 inches when built. 


2. Saint Basil's Cathedral Metal Model Kit

 

Saint Basil commonly known as Saint Basil's Cathedral, is a former church in Red Square in Moscow, Russia. The building, now a museum, is officially known as the Cathedral of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos on the Moat or Pokrovsky Cathedral. It was built from 1555–61 on orders from Ivan the Terrible and commemorates the capture of Kazan and Astrakhan.

A world famous landmark, it has been the hub of the city's growth since the 14th century and was the city's tallest building until the completion of the Ivan the Great Bell Tower in 1600. The model is 3.5 x 2.6 x 3.5 inches when assembled. 


3. Notre Dame Cathedral Metal Model Kit

 

Notre-Dame de Paris is a historic Catholic cathedral on the eastern half of the Île de la Cité in the fourth arrondissement of Paris, France. The cathedral is widely considered to be one of the finest examples of French Gothic architecture and among the largest and most well-known church buildings in the world. The naturalism of its sculptures and stained glass are in contrast with earlier Romanesque architecture. The model is 3.2 x 4.6 x 2 inches when assembled. 


4. Roma Colosseum Metal Model Kit

This massive stone amphitheater was commissioned around A.D. 70 by Emperor Vespasian as a gift to the Roman people. In A.D. 80, his son Titus opened the Colosseum with 100 days of games, including gladiatorial combats and wild animal fights. The Colosseum remained in use for more than four centuries.

The Sydney Opera House is a multi-venue performing arts center in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. The Opera House design is the creation of Danish Architect Jorn Utzon who took a particular interest in the works of American architect Frank Lloyd Wright. It was the tallest man-made structure in the world until the Chrysler Building was built in 1930. The model is 4.5 x 1.6 x 1.6 inches when built.

The Leaning Tower of Pisa, known worldwide for its unintended tilt to one side, is the freestanding bell tower of the cathedral in the Italian city of Pisa. Work on the ground floor of the white marble campanile began on August 8, 1173. The model is 2.4 x 1.9 x 1.9 inches when built.

The Chrysler Building is an Art Deco style skyscraper in New York City, located on the east side of Manhattan in the Turtle Bay area at the intersection of 42nd Street and Lexington Avenue. At 1,046 feet, the structure was the world's tallest building for 11 months before it was surpassed by the Empire State Building in 1931. It is still the tallest brick building in the world, albeit with an internal steel skeleton. The model is 4.9 x 1.5 x 1.5 inches when assembled.

The Burj Khalifa is located in Dubai and is currently the tallest structure in the world at 2,723 feet. Construction began on September 21st 2004 and it officially opened on January 4th 2010. The model is 5.6 x 2.45 x 2.45 inches when built. 


10. Big Ben Metal Model Kit

Big Ben is the nickname for the great bell of the clock at the north end of the Palace of Westminster in London though today the name also refers to the clock and the clock tower. The bell weighs almost 14 tons and each clock face is 23 feet in diameter. It became fully operational on September 7th, 1859 and is today one of the most prominent symbols of London standing at 316 feet high. The model is 5 x 2.4 x 3.1 inches when assembled.
